Three biology grads, Taylor Nystrom, Rachana Bhave, and Phoebe Cook, helped organize GRIT Day, which is an annual opportunity for students, faculty, and administrators across biology, biomedical sciences, and engineering programs to work together on recruiting and retaining diverse graduate students. They reviewed all the progress they have made on last years' goals, and then generated new action items for this year through group discussions.
